There have to be hundreds of formations in circulation right now. Does anyone know of a website or blog or an app or something with an up- to- date and frequently updated list of all the formations officially published currently? I know some armies have none, others have a few, and some like BA have like 72 different formations spread across different books. Then there's the decurions....

I went to Hershey Park in central PA this year, and I have to say I was more than a little disappointed. I fully expected the entire theme park to be make entirely of chocolate, but no. Here in America, we have "building codes," and some other nonsense about chocolate melting if don't store it someplace kept below room temperature.

Oh my god. How have I gone so long without this? Thank you so much!

...and to think that after 3rd edition, they tried to minimize 'little fiddily bits' of wargear, so that people didn't have to know what each tiny bit on the character did ("My Terminator Honors give me +1 Attack"). Now, all the extra rules aren't even associated with the model!

I'm still not sure how it is confusing to require upgrades to be shown on the model, but not confusing at all when the exact same model and unit has different profiles and rules based on how you selected it.

Don't get me wrong. I like the idea of Formations and Detachments, but I think that special rules should be somehow obvious to the opposing player. The Green Tide is a good example. It gives you special rules, but you also field the units differently. I think it would be better if that was the ONLY kind of special rules this stuff got. I still think its weird and confusing that, for example, Battlewagons can scout, if you take 5 of them. The rule is certainly useful, but it don't make no sense!
