As we all now know, there is going to be a Total war: Warhammer, and End times will be shortly coming out. So how would that work? hasn't the world exploded and so all or most of the races destroyed? If anyone knows the story for this i would appreciate it.

It's set before the end times, and given that you're going to radically diverge from cannon the moment you start issuing orders, you're likely to butterfly away (an alternate history term referring to the butterfly effect) the end times from happening anyway.

The End Times might show up as one of the expansions or campaign DLCs though.

It's a trilogy so if it shows up at all it will be in the third game. We'd be as likely to see Time of Legends.

The game will be set earlier in the timeline. And its just going to be fairly generic, with specific campaigns to represent particular events.

Like Total War Kingdoms was. You had the Spanish conquest of the Americas, the Teutonic Crusades, the 3rd Crusade, and Brittania.

With Total Warhammer we'll probably eventually have Archaon's first invasion of the Old World, the End Times, the Time of Sundering, the Vampire wars, Wars of Nagash, Fall of Khemri, etc...

As the old world is now gone as far as gw is concerned, they have probably sold the IP to it, which would explain the timing of the TW game.

Can't wait for this. Providing they don't mess it up, the combination of WHFB and TW will be truly a thing to behold!

yes it will, when i saw it, i thought that was just another mod. This is the real deal, not any scrap up job.

I just hope, like someone else mentioned, it's more a reskin of Shogun 2 and not a reskin of Rome 2. Considering how long they've been working on this (with a parallel team), there is hope yet.

My guess is it will be neither. Hopefully they will have learned from the mistakes of Shogun and Rome and they make something better.
