Nice, not thrilling, but nice. I'm not a big MU fan but there are some neat cards in the pack. Glad to see MU getting more admirals, two in one pack is a surprise. Now they have more than the Klingons , for now anyway

The ISS Avenger is not a bad ship for 16 points. You don't see too many ships in that price range throwing 4 attack dice. You'll just need something to clear that Aux Power Token.
Not too pleased about the Admirals- Fleet Actions suck. I can see Admiral Black getting some play time, but Admiral Gardner? You want me to spend an action to get +1 attack die, lose a defense die, and no free actions for that turn? Yeah, right. I think Worf will still be the preferred Admiral for small ships, but Admiral Black might see some use on the big ships.
Soval would have been a fantastic captain if he had a skill in the 7-8 range. A 4 really, really hamstrings him. Fantastic ability though- if you run with a lot of out of faction upgrades. Otherwise, Capt. Soval will probably be left on Vulcan meditating a lot. Best captains in MU still remain MU Riker, MU Kirk, and MU Sisko.
The Orion Tactical Officer is pretty meh. It would be good against a ship with weapon upgrades, but otherwise, I'd just use her for discards (Sisko and Kirk). The Andorian Helmsem... wow. Talk about a cheap "Get out of Jail Free" card! This card could be the card that every other faction takes with their ships, especially on a high skill captain. Move, shoot, then move out of any return fire. Very nice! Somewhat situational, and useless against the Borg- except it'll get you turning faster, but then you start looking at cards that give you better turns...
Secondary Weapons are what they are. There is enough talk out there about why you shouldn't take them, so I won't comment too much on them here.
Emergency Bulkheads- Could be a great card on a large ship and during late game. Too expensive on a ship that costs less then 30.
It's surprising the MU got Enhanced Hull Plating, AND that it has the exact same text as the Fed card, even though it's been errata'd to work very differently then what it says on the card. Maybe this is a case of Wizkids not wanting two of the same named card with different text?
Overall, not a bad release, but I think other factions will get more value out of this wave then Mirror Universe. Automatically Appended Next Post: Oh, I totally forgot about the best card in the set! Sabotage! Gives a giant finger to Romulans and cloaked ships. Think about this- I'm paying 4 points to disable 2 shields and give you a possible Aux Power Token. It's not an attack, and "hits" automatically.
This is a fantastic mid game card. Could be effective in the early game against a cloaked ship, but mid game when ships have started taking damage... oh yeah. I like this card!

I don't think MU Sabotage is worth a 4 point discard and a talent slot. If you just want to hit someone with an aux token MU Brunt is 1 point and still works range 1-3.

Right- but he doesn't disable shields either. This could make for a nice 1-2 punch with two ships. /shrug
I didn't say it was the best card in the game, only the best card in this release.

I'm surprised that the Andorian Pilot isn't getting more talk, it's clearly really good.

Really liking this, the last few MU releases have been great, and this makes me look forward to the Krenim Timeship even more. I am a bit disappointed that more of the MU Enterprise crew didn't show up. Would have been cool, especially getting them in the TOS uniforms.

So far there hasn't been a MU NX enterprise announced, but I'm sure there will be one sooner or later.
