This is for my Thousand Sons army. I wanted to do something different, but reasonable for casual gaming.



Do you like the simple concept? I also have a burning chariot in my army, and it does NOT have the large flame on the exalted flamer to hopefully differentiate the two units and make the situation more acceptable.

This is a great idea! I think the only problem that people may have is the size difference. It looks like the star is significantly smaller than a Heldrake. Is there any way to extend the sides of the model? Unfortunately because it's a vehicle the length of the sides really matters.

Layer a second star under the first one,so that the points extend between the top ones, but out further?

I have the spirit hosts + books from the Nagash kit. Thinking that will bulk it out slightly. The plan is to paint it up nice as well. Always helps, especially when the opponents will likely have unpainted stuff at local events.
