I quick query as this happenned to me today:

As soon as the ME KS advert went live at the top of the page the whole Dakka page has gotten smaller on my iPad, with a big bar down the right hand side. It is like this on different types of pages so is consistent.

It's no biggy but makes the buttons harder to press and can be a bit annoying. Is anyone else having this problem? I've tried restarting etc. but I'm 99% sure it's the ME ad (which looks great btw!)

Yeah it is a glitch I'm fixing now.

In the top left of the big banner is an [X]. If you click that, the banner will vanish for 7 days on your browser

That is one dark [x]!

I'm stuck with IE9 at work, and clicking any of the dropdown menus that ended up over the banner (like thread tools) ended up clicking on the banner instead.

Not sure if that is a problem with other browsers and clicking the [x] fixes that, but just wanted to pass it on.

The banner is meant to be hidden for those of us who use dakka frequently, but we needed to put up something 'in your face' to catch our huge volumes of casual traffic.
