This would be for a house ruling.
1 Spiriteer
3 Wraithguard/blades
2 Wraithlords
I removed the Wraithknight cause dam guilt keep me from feilding it, tho that does not work with the imperial knight oddly enough.
Next since this is the first time me using formation, can i just run the formation even when i am unbound?
*New to formation thing*
Thoughts and idea's thanks

So an Eldar playing flatly admitting that the Wraith Knight is Broken. one day GW will stop force feeding us units that are completely OP. With that said I Guarantee you that the sales for Wraith Knights have gone up already.

If you're waiting for a lot of Eldar players to admit the WK is too good for its costs, you're about two years late...
Personally, I think what you list should be fine. I wish all the formations were a bit more flexible (and had much weaker bonuses). Automatically Appended Next Post: You can't get formation bonuses while playing unbound.
That said, many of the biggest Unbound haters would rather face those constructs in Unbound than the actual Spirit Host formation.

Errrmmmmm you still get formation special rules even in an unbound list.
pg 121 black box "Unlike other Detachments, Formations can also be taken as part of Unbound armies (pg 117). If they are, their units maintain the special rules gained for being part of the Formation."
Unless you are talking about the decurien bonus stuff?

It's easy to assume that people arguing an interpretation you disagree with are just looking for an advantage for themselves... But it's quite often not the case. |

@OP yeah those units would be fitting for a houseruled formation. But as normal formations also gives the units some additional benefits, you should try to make some up that fits the theme.
Since I suppose the general consensus is that wraithguards does fine without further buffs, I suggest you try to make the wraithlords the main recipients of the formation buffs.
As I understand it, they are mostly made obsolete, thanks to the wraithknight.
Alas I have no good suggestions on a formation bonus.
Doesnt the eldar codex has a wraith something formation? whats their bonus?
