I've wanted to use this formation forever and just finished building a batch of MANZ, let me know what you think of this list!!
(my thoughts below list)


Da Bully Boyz

5x MANZ (1 combi skorcha)
in BW w/ ram and 2 Rokkits

Warlord Traits: Strategic - Hope for the Master of Ambush and infiltrate essentially your entire army.
Always try and seize the initiative (esp if you get trait) Night Fighting doesn't hurt either.

If not infiltrating: Battle wagons deploy in formation around bikes, taking advantage of the KFF
Mini Mek w/ Gunz

Keep MANZ away from ap2, if possible, but they are WS5 now and fearless (also cause fear) so they should be able to hold their own.
Use skorchas to melt squads of tiny men you don't want to charge or save to char charging weenies on overwatch

Turn 1 Booooooost
Turn 2 Assault
Turn 3+
Ram side armor w/ BW (S9 hit)
Annoy people with bikes
Bring in grots from reserve to hold points.

Great strategy idea, how do you like the low model count? It seems difficult to maintain board control after you dump your Manz unless you table them.

I have a friend who runs MANz all the time. Loota support is a really good idea as usually Lootas are a focus, but with the MANZ rush its impossible to do so.

Another great support unit is Tankbustas.

It may be difficult to find points for the above, but regardless I will tell you right now a lucky stikk boss with the MANz is way better, as usually he can split off and do some work on his own.


I would also look into finding 30 points to give each unit of MANz a single killsaw.

Why not trukks , also I'd slap just bounch of stuff in more trukks so you could have like 6 trukks on the field . It's just for me bw is a shooting fortress and not a delivery system, shure it's awesome to sometimes charge from it but il usualy stick until turn 3-4 and shoot from bw until il disembark and charge

Lso if you deploy all youre bws together you can just scout bounch of koptaz infront of youre wagons to gieve 5 cover ( I read this somewhere on daka and use it alot for my self nou) you can skipp mekk than and replace it for painboy on bike or boss. Also kopaz will help pop transports so youre MANZ can charge units inside and not waste turn bashing those and than eat shooting

I love the bully boyz and am tempted to build a force of my own after proxying them at 1000 points.

You could consider going all in with the battlewagons and use the blitz brigade formation. Letting you scout all your MANZ halfway up the field before the game begins might be fun.
Round out the rest of the points with things to fill the 2 empty battlewagons.

Why not trukks? My own opinion is that whilst trukks are great for tank bustas and boyz, if you are going to spend 200 points on a unit of meganobz, you might as well pay a few more points to increase the chance of them getting up the field.

If boyz or bustas get shot out of their ride in your deployment zone it's not the end of the world. However being forced to slowly walk 5 meganobz up the board is a waste of points.

3 meganobz in a trukk for a MANZ missile is acceptable though, as it is less of an investment.

Also, all BW's for several reasons

1) Turn 1 a "United Front" of AV14 to shoot at. Making the majority of their army useless and increasing the survivability of yours.
2) Deny First Blood - Every game I've ever played with trukks, guess what happens? Turn 1 - BOOM!
3) Gretchin Ferries - End of the game, why not scoot one back and have your ObSec Grots embark on it. Cruise around and steal vital points.

I haven't actually play tested it yet and that's a big concern. But you should have enough fast units to zip around (Bikes and BW) plus see point #3 above about grot ferries.

Good point about grot ferries, I always forget they can hop in transports. Mine usually cower in a building or wherever the safest objective is. They make an excellent meat shield for lootas as well.
