I've been running 4 librarians lately as the conclave, Ezekiel, a ML2, a terminator, and a bike. The first two in a vehicle, the terminator DSing with knights, and the bike in a command squad. What would you say is the best combination of powers for this build?

I currently run Ezekiel as divination, the ML2 as telekinesis, the bike as telepathy, and the terminator as pyromancy. This way I can cast a wide variety, but the issue is that I need to keep the three groups with 12 of each other. Would it be better to have the terminator and bike both take telepathy, so if they separate I can double up on telepathy? Would you say that I should change around Ezekiel or the other librarian riding in the vehicle?

I'm asking because while I've had some luck with that power setup, I often get the squads broken up and then can't cast the blessings without getting out of the vehicle, or there are times it'd be beneficial to double up on psychic shriek, or possibly have a higher chance of rolling invisibility.

Any opinions/advice are welcome!

(the rest of my army is some scout snipers and tac squads, generic terminators, more bikes, dev squads, sometimes a dreadnought for fun)

You don't need to keep unit coherency at all. I view the conclave as a way of getting mountains of cheap power dice and characters you wouldn't otherwise be able to have.

The ability to cast each other's spells is incredibly situational, something I'd do if it ment a possible serious blow to the enemy on turn 4 or something. And having it on standby all the time is a bit naff so I tend to ignore the conclaves special rules otherwise.

The load out you pick needs to make sense in the situation. Your in. I usually pair Ezekiel with a short range support unit like veterans or tactical marines so he has lots of ablative wounds for cheap and so he can hammer out heavy damage. Usually going telepathy works so you can maybe snag scream, or pyro for that beam melta.

A biker librarian should imo always go divination or telepathy because being able to pass out invisible or prescience on the fly even if that's all his unit ever seems to do is too useful to not invest in.

A terminator librarian is a bit of an oddball. Again I'd probably just go telepathy but pyro or even doing something risky and going daemonology or santific might not be a bad idea. I mean he could luck out and cast hammer hand on a squad of deathwing Knights and now their suddenly a lot more powerful.

Bike librarians for me are always divination. There is not one power in that tree that isn't insanely valuable for a bike command squad. Likewise I would suggest the same for your ML2 librarian and put him in with your dev squad for the same reasons. These are your heavy hitters in your list, and making them potentially ignore cover, or rend, get a 4+ invul. save etc. is too good to pass up.

For a Terminator librarian I am partial to Telekinesis. It had a nice variety of anti-horde and anti-vehicle shooting options giving you some tactical flexibility without tailoring your list. The nova power is nice and objuration mechanicum makes you a threat to anything with AV given its haywire effect.
