If you use the Guardian Battlehost, the Heavy Weapons become free. Somehow I have read the rule multiple times and had multiple interpretations of it, so I thought I would post something here to check which is right. If using the Battlehost, with 20 man squads of Guardians, do I get two Heavy Weapons free, or is it limited to one free weapon per squad?

All weapon platforms are free, so a 20 man unit would get 2 free.

Units of Guardian Defenders from this Formation can take a Heavy Weapon Platform (pg112) at no points cost instead of the points cost listed on their datasheet

RAW, it would appear they are only allowed one weapon for free. RAI I believe they should get two, since the Guardian Storm squads are able to take all of their weapons for free.
I'm curious to see what others think though.

If the wording posted by Bojazz is correct, then "a Heavy Weapon Platform at no points cost" means a single one. Otherwise it'd have to say "Heavy Weapon Platforms at no points cost" and would omit the word "a". That means just 1.

I concur, and take back my statement after rereading the rule. It definately states "can take a WSP for free".
Ah well, no big thing as I doubt I would be taking squads of 20 anyways.
