Set up the defense line in the middle of ur deployment. Behind it put your x3 lascannon teams. Then your x2 sentinel squads with your HQ chimera in the middle. Then your x2 chimeras and x2 Wyverns as the last line. All ur tanks, sentinels included, have camo netting so they all get a 3+ save on any shots and you just make your lascannon teams go to ground anytime they get shot at giving them a 2+ save and issue the order "get back in the fight" the next turn. Also everyone should be within 6" of ur hq chimera and with kurov everyone gets to reroll 1's when shooting (which is why I have ur sentinels all plasma cannons instead of autocannons). I'd put one of each random infantry squad on each flank just to show face that your army is well balanced. Then turn like 3-4 you can break out of your deployment with all ur sentinels and x3 chimeras to take some objectives/mop up

That's a lot of Camo Gear...

Why not drop it off the three chimeras and give Grenadiers to the vets? The plasma is more l likely to kill them individually.

Also maybe drop one of the squads of Sentinels and swap for a Leman Russ variant? Whenever I've used sentinels, armoured or scout, they seem to whiff shots and die quickly..
You could then use the spare points to put the camo back on the CCS Chimera if you still wanted to.

Kurov gives the sentinels, and everyone else PE. So instead of having one tank that can get blow up, which it always does, I have x6 plasma cannons or better yet 12 HPs all with a 3+ save and PE? Why would I give that up for just 1 tank?

Same thing about the vets getting killed from gets hot, they all can reroll 1s so I'd have to roll a 1, then another 1, then fail their save...

Pluuus I don't want to drop my company commander because he can issue my lascannon said to get back up and fire as normal after going to ground, or better yet when they don't have to go to ground give them tank hunter/monster hunter special rule and really deal some damage

With that kind of game plan, your list is very immobile. Hugging the kurovs to not get hot. Destined to fail. Also by bunching up, someone with an assault list won't have to do much to kill your entire army. Just box you in and you are done. Also blasts would become an issue if you group up like that. It's just not a good game plan.

Having a ccs is fine, but keep in mind, lascannon heavy teams are leadership 7, meaning you will fail orders on them. They are also your only source of long range threat as well, so most opponents will target them. And they don't last very long.

Smoke grenades are 5+ cover. How exactly are you expecting 3+ and 2+ cover on everything?

ageis defense line gives a 4+ cover save, camo net gives +1 to cover so vehicles therefore receive a 3+ cover save, models that "go to ground" behind a defense line get +2 to their cover so troops therefore receive a 2+ cover save. Doesn't have anything to do with Smoke Grenades.

Also Kurov allows one failed LD roll per turn so I would have to fail it twice, odds are in my favor.

I have x3 chimeras and x6 walkers. I also gave my wyverns heavy flamers so this list can be VERY mobile if I need it to be.

Assault based lists would have to charge over cover losing initiative, besides they only have my lascannon teams to attack and my x2 wyverns can shoot without line of site if they try to hide units on their way into me. A squad of TWC or some berserkers get torn up from the wyverns.

I don't also know how the lascannon teams "wouldn't last long", I have 9 of them and they all will get a 2+ save. That's some survivability if you as me.

The only thing that would get me is ordinance but trust me on how well having a 3+ cover save comes in handy.

What he is saying is an assault list would get in your face and youd have nothing to shoot at. If you get objective based I could see issues but no list is 100% at everything.

I like any list that is different and yours certainly fits the bill. I can also see how your strategy fits with the list.

I reckon try it out in a few games and see how it plays out. It can be hard to predict how lists go in-game sometimes - esp at higher points.
