Got a tau friend. We play what we call friendly unfriendly games. A bit of nastiness, not full competitive, good for a laugh.

As I've started my eldar almost from scratch he's suggested playing at 1500 for now. So I've gone for this at 1499 as I own all but the spiders.

CAD

HQ - Farseer Skyrunner. Singing spear. Spirit stone.
HQ - Farseer. Spear.

Troops - 5x Jetbikes with scatter lasers and warlock upgrade.
Troops - 4x Jetbikes with shuriken cannons and warlock upgrade. Farseer Skyrunner goes here.

Elites - 5x Wraithguard with D-scythes in a wave serpent with TL scatter lasers and shuriken cannon with holo fields. Footseer goes here.

Fast attack - 6x swooping hawks including exarch with sun rifle.
Fast attack - 5x warp spiders including exarch

Lord of war - Wraithknight (here's my biggest issue.... I'll definitely take two scatter lasers, but sword and shield, or dual cannons....)

You sought to cower behind your walls, weakling? Instead, by the will of Khorne, you shall die behind them

I see what you're saying.... But I'm definitely taking one of the two. I'm not paying £70 and then modelling it in a sub optimal build.

You can always magnetize the Wraithknight... I made the mistake of not doing so, and putting the shield and sword on him... and selling the extra bits (for a decent amount actually) on Ebay.... :( I wish I had the extra bits at least, so I could rip the arm off and put the gun on it instead.

I think I'm sold on the cannons to be fair.

I just put the sword and the guns on. When im using the guns (all of last edition) I just say the swords decoration, and when im running the sword, the guns are decoration.
You can do anything if you paint it nice enough

I do drugs.
Mostly Plastic Crack, but I do dabble in Cardboard Cocaine.

I magnetized the wraithknight arms.. but beware that gw giive you 4 arms and 2 gun barrels ..while giving you 5 hands and 5 gun ends.. hard to explain... but traumatic.. and a bit evil... so in order to magnetise properly (at the shoulder, as all models should be) I used a pair of strong neodium magnets that looks like a 5pence piece plus a long 10mm protruding pin adjacent to a 10mm deep receiving hole to stop the "snapped into place" magnet rotating under the weight.. I then bought a 3rd right arm on ebay then split a barrel cunningly into half and only the outer half of the d canon is actually modelled.. you can't tell..

Be warned it is a messy job magnetising this boy properly
