Hi guys, there is an upcoming tournament at my local store that I am entering and wanted to get your opinion on two lists that I have written using the models I have. The tournament is 2500pts, end times rules, end times magic and using the Archaon book in terms of army build. There will be quite a few Chaos armies about, at least one other Ogre list, lizard men and undead as far as the competition stands.


List A

Lords: - Slaughtermaster with lvl4 armour of fortune, dispel scroll, biting blade, rock eye=360pts

- Tyrant with armour of destiny, obsidian blade=310pts

Heroes: - Bruiser with heavy armour, razor standard=204pts

Core: - 10 Ironguts with FC, Dragonhide banner=510pts

Core: - 11 Ogres with FC, iron fists=382pts

Core: - 11 Ogres with FC, iron fists=382pts

Special: - 4 Leadbelchers with Bellower=182pts

Rare: - Ironblaster=170pts



List B

Lords: - Slaughtermaster with lvl4 armour of fortune, dispel scroll, biting blade, rock eye=360pts

- Tyrant with armour of destiny, obsidian blade=310pts

Heroes: - Bruiser with heavy armour, war banner=169pts

Core: - 12 Ironguts with FC, Dragonhide banner=596pts

Core: - 20 Ogres with FC, iron fists=670pts

Special: - 5 Leadbelchers with Bellower=225pts

Rare: - Ironblaster=170pts

Let me know which list you prefer and any ideas. In terms of what I have to choose from spare are a couple of bulls, 4 lead belchers, fire belly.

Which ever list you take, on your bsb you need the runemaw, your up for a tough time anyway under all endtimes rules with ogres, and you will need the protection from the magic phase. I'd try to get your fire belly in if you can to improve your presence in the magic phase, and in that amount of points only 4 leadbelchers is insane, take every single one you have got as they are an invaluable unit. 2500+ I always take 2 units of 6 with bellowers, and try to get a firebelly in with one. They always make their points back. Good luck in the tournament
