I'm going to be running a Speed Freaks list and I think Kommandos will fit in nicely with Infiltrate, presenting more targets to deal with.

What's the best way to run them?

I've run them a couple different ways.

I like the MCU approach with a max of 10 guys. Flamers are great, because Ork shooting lol, and Snikrot + a Power Klaw Nob actually makes the unit really hard hitting.
Infiltrate them into ruins and go for the turn 2 counter assault to back up your trukk boyz or outflank to hit the back line, also turn 3 assault.

If you had crazy extra points to toss around you could attached Killsaw Meks for extra vehicle killiness.

Oh, i'd love to make commandoes viable for things other than min-squad with 2 rokkits sitting on points. That's especially sad since i'm running blood axes

I'd like to hear your results with a larger squad.

I was looking for Snikrot + a full squad of kommandoes with burnas and PK nob. But they cost SO much...Maybe a unit of 10 with a pk, bp nob and Snikrot and probably 2 burnas or bigshootas. Still cost too much. But sometimes it's just very important to appear where needed.

I'm with koooo, minimum sized squad with some rockits. Sit on a point in cover. They might last the whole game or someone will spend too much time shooting them.

Snikrot with PK nob and burnas is what I run with my speed freeks, but only when I have no other alt deploy models. Either use 'em as an infiltrate distraction (if enemy has no ignores cover) or as a burna delivery service (if enemy has backfield infantry/etc) or as a counter-infiltrator if enemy has infiltrators since they use the burnas so effectively against them.

I have used them with varying degrees of success. usually not effective at all, but sometimes it works.

When I run them I run 5 kommandoes, 2 burnas and snikrot. Outflank and choose where I come on for maximum burnination. But two flamers isnt a devastating attack against most armies. Snikrot is okay in combat, but since he has no AP on his attacks, most tough targets will save them all. So the only time I did anything with them is when I had a nice juicy target of infantry planted in cover within 10 inches of a board edge.
