Lord and hounds start 12 inches out, scouting another 12, then move 12 on my turn to be in the enemy deployment zone turn 1, bikes do the same with turbo boost with maulers and the thirster not far behind. Raptors DS and try to melta vehicles/Harrass the enemy back line. Cultists sit on objectives and try to be in cover then peg stuff with the heavy stubers.

I maybe completely off here, apologies if so, but don't you have to take the parent formation to gain access to the gore pack?

Anyone can take a gorepack.

List looks sound. Raptors Are a bit odd, but I can see the need for drop melta. I guess you aren't tempted to squeeze in the warp talons for the formations bonuses.

The formation bonus would be nice but 2 warptalon Tax is murder. And the raptors are a recent addition I may decide I don't like them, I just wanted some DS melta then their mobility if they survive the turn after they shoot is apealing.

Fort Benning, Georgia

The formation is 0-1 Heldrakes, 2-4 Raptors, and 1-4 Warp Talons. So you'd just need one unit of them. But In this list they aren't required. It's pretty solid.
