Hello! I've got a league/tournament coming up and I've never played at this low of points level. I was wondering what everyone thought of a list like this, and how it'd fair against other armies at this points level.
Farseer
7x Dire Avengers
7x Dire Avengers
5x Wraithguard with D-Scythes
Wave Serpent with a TL Eldar Missle Launcher
2x War Walkers with 2x Bright Lances each
I really love wraith units but I'm worried that they're too short range (hence the wave serpent). Will this work?
Games will be played on a 4x4 board, with no fylers or flying monstrous creatures, named characters or super heavies/LoW allowed.

Lances are fine in the event someone brings a land raider and you need it dead turn 1 or 2.

I don't like the walking DAs particularly in a CAD. I would either find a way to get them into Serpents or swap them for bikes.
Not convinced you need all the BLs with Wraithguard in the list a Landraider is dead to them anyway. Some Scatters would offer a more varied threat. Though I agree in splitting them.
With the Serpent I don't see the EML as worth it at all. It is overcosted even when you factor in the AA role. In a Tourney with no flyers I wouldn't touch it with a bargepole. Shuricannons keep it cheap, Lasers give volume fire, Starcannons give Ap2, personally in this list I would tend towards one of the first 2. Give it an underslung cannon too for extra firepower.

I was thinking it'd be useful for the blast, but I guess a shurikan cannon and TL shurikan cannon would help push wounds on mobs.

How do you beat Necron with Eldar now?
My friend had a 750 list of two groups of warriors, a group of immortals with his lord, three jetbike guys and the wraith formation with the spider and scarabs.
I was thinking of using support batteries with d weapons for area denial but other than that I have no idea.
I don't like jetbikes.

Necrons you want to reduce their durability as much as possible. Weapons that negate their 3+ or 4+ armor saves, or high strength/D to reduce their RP rolls. Also, trying to go toe-to-toe with shooting at the 12-24" range will be a losing fight on your end unless you get enough rends with shuriken weapons. Getting them into assault causes them to do less damage, but makes it harder for you to hurt them. Banshees and Scorpions aren't half bad against their regular troops. Wraiths will be a problem though.

Yeah, I was thinking banshees but I'd have no safe way of delivering them. The immortals make the fire avengers useless. The wraith guard really did damage in our game, but they're so expensive at this points level that it's hard to run two.

Can't use lords of war at this points level in our league unfortunately. Or flyers.
