Hello all.
I'm about a month or so out from picking up the hobby again (I had to sell my army few years back and haven't had the time or funds to resume), and I've got about a million conversions already planned out.
For one of them, I have a question regarding a certain bit. I have it narrowed down to, I think, two possible selections. So my question is this: the Warrior or the Venomthrope, which ones chest piece (the bony carapace bit) is roughly to scale with a Terminator chest plate? Or is there one I've overlooked that would work better?

I don't know, but I have an idea. If you have a lot of conversions planned I would look for a local tyranid player through your local shop or even see if the wargamers in your area have a facebook group or the like. You may be able to do a bits swap, some Tyranid bits for trophies for some Marines for his tyranids to be munching on.

The venomthrope one is the smaller of the two for sure.

I don't know which compares best with Terminator chest ( but can find out in the next day or so). But the Warrior one also encompasses more body then the Venomthrope one does.

Just the way the models are built.

These are my opinions. This is how I feel. Others may feel differently. This needs to be stated for some reason.

That actually helps, thanks. I was thinking it'd be the closest based on the shape alone and the size of the two models compared.

And unfortunately, the only Tyranid player I know moved 5 hours away recently. Not much help from him on the matter. Lol
