Hey guys, theres a tournament coming up at my FLGS and it has a fun twist; 500 points, unbound, 1 ally max, only Monsterous Creatures and Walkers allowed!

So, with those rules in mind I came up with this list. Please let me know what you think! Also, if anyone has any ideas (for any army) please post it, i'd be curious to see what people could come up with.

Haemonculus Covens

- Talos stock
- Talos chain flails
- Talos haywire blasters
- Cronos Spirit Probe

Thanks for your imput

The person that brings a wraithknight and a wraithlord will probably win......

But overall it seems like a good list. Is the cronos really worth it though? I feel like another Talos would be more beneficial.

Dreadknights are also a strong contender for victory. Another strong contender will be dual riptides.

Aftermath can be calculated.

Dark humor is like food, not everyone gets it.

Two Flyrants could put in a lot of work (unless FMC's are banned)

I think another Talos would be better, over the Cronos.

I don't know what that missions are supposed to be, though I think there will be objective based missions, making flying hive tyrants less powerful, since they can't claim objectives while flying. Also, i don't think we'll have to worry about wraithknights, I don't think GMCs are allowed.

I can see how dreadknights will rock the place, especially with their force weapons.

Automatically Appended Next Post:
i figured I would include the cronos to bump the survivability of the other three talos. If I swapped it out for another, i could drop the chainflails for another haywire blaster..

Your going against players that you KNOW will take High Toughness creatures, with Wraith Knights and GUO's being the prime offenders. And you are not taking Ichor Injectors?????

This is what they were made for! Fleshbane wounds all Toughness on 2's, from Carnifexes to Wraithknights.

3 Talosi with Ichor Injectors and heat lances will scare away Walkers and beat down any MC bar a Wraithknight down in combat. Just watch out for melee walkers.

The ichor injector is a novel idea! But why the heatlances? wouldn't a combination of splinter cannons (for range) and haywire blasters be more versatile

Simple versatility, considering what you will face. Haywire Blasters will do jack all to standard MC's (T6 3+) while a Splinter Cannon will do similarly badly against any Walker.

A Heat Lance is a counter to your worst weakness (High AV Melee walkers) while being adequate vs MC's (wound on 4's and deny armour saves). While both other weapons are good at what they do, only the Heat Lance allows you to at least threaten all targets.
