Im at a loss of what to do, i want to avoid the oblit models and the fine cast warp smith looks like it has the potential to be a miscast nightmare. Im horrible with green stuff, so if possible id like some suggestions with minimal green stuff work. Thanks!

Convert SM Centurions into Obliterators, use the power scourge from the helbrute to make mecha-tentacles?

How hard would it be to remove the imperial markings from the cents?
I thought of that, but i don't want it to be so difficult that it becomes a hack job

Honestly no idea. If you search the gallery though, there's a couple of examples that look nice.

They still sell the old metal Warpsmith if you like that model, for the Oblits, I know a friend of mine converted terminators into Oblits, and it was, okay. If you think you're up for that, I say give that a shot

Shadowrun is the best game ever. It's the only thing I have ever played in which I have jumped out of a shot out van with a chainsaw to cut a flying drone in half before leveling a building with ANFO assisted by a troll, a dwarf, an elf, and a wizard.

If, fluff-wise, you're happy for them to represent centurions who've recently gone traitor and then been 'improved' by IW weaponsmiths to now count-as Oblits, that gives you a lot more converting freedom - you can change/replace/cover marine iconography bits only as necessary and convenient. You could even go as far as leaving some of their armour in the original marine colours, as mockery of IW's enemies.

I'd definitely convert or replace the weapons to better represent ultra-super-combi-weapons, to stop them just looking like repainted centurions.

They would also likely have a great alternative to a warpsmith, too.

That's their Mechanicus looking stuff, they're sure to be a suitable warpsmith proxy in there.
