Can anyone recommend good, reasonably priced carry cases. I've got around 60 infantry sized minis and some larger things like a dreadnought and land speeder to cater for. I just want somewhere good to store my minis when I'm not using or painting them, and maybe to transport them to games etc.
My favourite is Feldherr, they got everything from Bloodbowl to full armysize, both hard and soft bags and a gazilion options on the foam. Also, I think the price is quite nice.
Big on the DIY option, myself. Pick up some good cases from an auction or yard sale, put sheet metal on the bottom, and magnetize your minis. Optionally, get bags the same way, and then make your own trays with upholstery foam and an electric knife (gluing them down to a stiffer craft foam as a base).
I use a Battlefoam 1520XL with extension on top for weird shaped stuff/large models and the largest GW case for infantry. I can fit 4k points of marines, 2k in eldar and 100-150 points of cryx in those 2 cases.
