If I challenge a fearless character and they decline, does fearless still carry over to the unit? I know the rule is that you can't use their leadership, but does it say anything about fearless? I'm wondering, as my marines are only stubborn, while my characters are fearless.

I believe so, because it's an always on passive trait. Also, I'm not sure, but can Fearless characters refuse challenges?

Nothing in the "refusing a challenge" section, or the entry for fearless, about not being able to refuse a challenge, and can't think of anywhere else it'd be. So unless a model has a special rule that it must challenge, you're fine declining if you're fearless it seems.

Except all your space buddy friends will make fun of you in the Rhino ride home.
