A Eavy Armor boyz squad with a Nob/BP/PK got out of a Trukk and assaulted a Tau skimmer unit...Utterly destroying it. Consolidation put it into ruins, My poor opponents turn he fired a Riptide, 2 Units of Kroot warriors and another skimmer into the squad.....inflicting a grand total of 1 dead ork. On my following turn that squad and a random surviving Nob from another squad bum rushed the Kroot and wiped them out...consolidated into more ruins. This time the Tau player didn't waste any effort. 3 missile Sides and a Riptide and the surviving Kroot squad unleashed hell on these guys killing a but the 2 nobz and 2 boyz, luckily I passed my Mob Rule test and somehow managed to not kill myself. On my turn I finished off the remaining tau nearby and had to stay in cover and the Tau player again unleashed hell on me and failed to kill this one Nob. On turn 5 he moved through cover, ran and contested the Tau players objective giving me a Victory.

We figured out after the game that my Eavy Armor Boyz squad was shot by 120 Kroot rifle shots, 4 Skimmer Melta shots, 24 Drone shots and somewhere around 28+ Riptide shots and his TL plasma gun up top. All of this FAILED to kill my one Nob who eventually won the game for me.

As soon as I can find a good camera I will introduce you all to Grumf Tau Smasha.

Nice,but i thought that you don't consolidate after destroying a vehicle in melee?
You shouldn't be worried about the one bullet with your name on it, Boldric. You should be worried about the ones labelled "to whom it may concern"-from Blackadder goes Forth!

Should have specified, each and every CC except one of them involved Infantry from the Tau side as well. be it Kroot or some poor stranded Ethereal :-P
