There are few games that really stood out in the past, but to me, Banjoo and Kazooie has been one of those games. Rare gems, if you want a good pun.

As usually, Banjoo and Kazooie had very tight controls, interesting and fluid game design, exciting levels with a lot of variety, funny dialogues, good character interaction, AWESOME music...I could go on. Sadly, Rare went downhill and their work was lost over time, despite millions asking for a successor.

...and this time is now!

The game's called Yooka-Laylee and isn't a direct successor, but rather a totally-not-protected-IP game that just got on Kickstarter...and already reached ALL stretch goals with over 1.000.000 pounds. The game currently is at 1.817.540$ (!!!) and it immediately found its way in our heart. The graphics are amazing...the very first screenshot got us and seeing those little enemies settled it. Soundtrack? The guys that made the soundtrack for Banjoo and Kazooie and Diddy Kong Racing. Art? Banjoo and Kazooie team. Sold! Backed with 500$.

Coming to PC and all current-gen consoles.

We're so excited

Looks good. Brings back memories of Banjo-Kazooie. I didn't fall in love with Laylee at first sight, but Yooka is pretty cool. Debating if I should pledge or just wait for the final product and pick it up on Steam.

Backed, if for no other reason that the number of hours I spent on Banjo 1 and 2.
Actually a pretty reasonable price for a multi platform release.

No wargames these days, more DM/Painting.

I paint things occasionally. Some things you may even like!

We're excited for it because it has the potential to be a classic Rare game - top notch gameplay, but family-friendly graphics. Potential to draw daughter into video games...present!

Backed this a few days ago, I cannot wait.

Really looking forward to this, I hope it allows the company to do more of these Spiritual Successors.
