Second mini I've painted in years! I know the conversion is not the most exciting conversion in the world but I did not want the current fig. I did not want him to be glowing gold also so hes a bit more bronze. No space marine should wear angel wings... ever...

Looks good! Not 100% sure on the pose (I'd lower the axe almost horizontal if it were me) but the paintwork is pretty faultless.

something like this:

Brass scorpion (heavy coat) > sycorax bronze (dry brush) > argax earth shade > Ghenna's gold (drobrush)

then the highlighting is the gold with an off white mixed a couple steps. The metallic was hard with the highlights. Honestly maybe I should have just done with NNM but happy with the result. Hope the above made sense!

Nice work. An interesting technique to the metals ... Maybe a little more attention to the base would not hurt ...
