Here is what I thought I'd build my Daemonkin army around:

Main Detachment: Slaughtercult

Soul Grinder, Baleful Torrent (155pts)

Allied Detachment (CSM)

HQ
Chaos Lord, Mark of Khorne, Sigil of Corruption, Juggernaut, Axe of Blind Fury (170pts)

Troops
10x Chaos Cultists, Flamer (55pts)

The idea is to play primarily maelstrom missions, the Blind Fury Lord goes with the 10 pack of hounds, since BftBG special rule applies as long as unit contains at least 1 model with the rule, as long as even 1 hound remains, all his kills will contribute to Blood Tithe (except for challenges)
The Kor'lath lord goes with 3 spawn (or gets scouted forward by 5 hounds and then joins the 3 spawn unit) since I'm not too worried about his survivability (I could drop spawn from main detachment and add nurgle spawn from CSM if I wanted to go for more competitive, less fluffy outcome)

The two bike squads and maulerfiends are on vehicle killing detail, while the soul grinders and possessed advance forward. Cultists stay back hiding on a home objective, while the 2 MSU of hounds run around claiming objectives around the board/assisting in CC

The plan for Blood Tithe is to spam Bloodletters and Feel no Pain, until mosts units are locked in CC or are about to charge, switching to FnP and +1 Attack

What do you guys think? I could drop the flamer on the cultist squad and add melta bombs to Blind Fury lord, which seems like a smarter thing to do. I'm a bit concerned with my anti vehicle as while 6 melta shots sounds good, its only 6 3+ wounds, which doesn't take much to remove

I'd change the slaughtercult Lord for a Juggy Herald with the hatred Loci. It is cheaper and will boost the dmg output of your hounds+lord, also you could sacrifice him to accept a challenge instead of the lord

Edit: Oh wait, Kor'lath is the axe that changed the lord into a BT once he dies right?, mmm I thought it didn't have any power weapon. Then I guess it looks fine, I'm not a big fan of the KDK weapons.

Interesting, I like it!

One potential you could have for boosting AT is to include a Bloodthirster of Insensate Rage. You would have to sacrifice two of your War Engines to do this, so it could be two Soul Grinders, two Maulerfiends, or one of each, but that would give you the wiggle room to fit one in. Personally I much prefer Soul Grinders due to their higher armour and versatility (I usually take with Phlegm Bombardments), but Maulerfiends have the potential to be better AT (as long as they don't get immobilised). If you went with Maulerfiends and the BT, having all three running 12" towards the tanks would leave the enemy with a bit of a conundrum on which to destroy.

Just a thought. I'm fairly new to Khorne so I might be entirely wrong
