Not sure. If they are not interested in distributing anywhere outside of the US, then:
1) The shipping charges will be even more bonkers than last time. I ended up paying $193 for my base $100 pledge, and the US export shipping situation has only worsened since then.
2) The pound is weaker than it has been for quite a while. Suddenly these "ultra-cheap" models aren't so much anymore.
3) It is almost impossible to buy them retail in the UK, and where you can, it's essentially a £=$ scenario, making them actually more expensive than equivalent metals in many cases.
Separately from that, I did not like how Bones II was run. I thought that the core pledge was a quite malnourished and variable in quality, at the expense of $50 add-ons which contained such strange mixes of stuff that I didn't want a single one. I was quite impressed by Dragons Don't Share though. In general, the larger stuff is of less interest since:
1) the lower detail level becomes very apparent at larger scales, possibly because they have to use more rigid plastic - you feel like you're painting a child's toy at points.
2) I have no effective storage solution for anything that large. It is going to either sit in a giant box, or get dusty or damaged.

The only times I've ordered from Reaper directly are their Bones 1&2, and CAV Kickstarters (they have always posted the packages direct from their US warehouse). Without exception, these always get picked up by customs (although that may be more because they are large/heavy).
That being said, every EU country has a different way of handling imports, and it could still end up worthwhile. I'd expect to pay roughly 1.5 times the US price shipped to your door, all told.

It was really rather insane, and it forced all sorts of strange questions when selecting add-ons:
"Okay, so adding on a $50 expansion raises the shipping cost by another $26. Of course, the £8 VAT handling fee remains constant for the entire shipment, but I'll be paying another 20% VAT on top of that $76 which makes it....$92. Wait, if I add the Dragons Don't Share as well, that puts me over the threshold for a separate import duty at 5%, so as well as the expansion costing me $97 now, it's raised the cost of my base pledge by a further $5."
...and so on. Frankly, in the age of every single other Kickstarter I back being EU-friendly, I just can't be bothered at this point. I've never understood why Reaper doesn't want to sell its products abroad, but they've made it quite clear.

Not really a fan of the 50K stretch goals right out of the gate, when half the time they're unlocking...a paid add-on. I feel that 400K should have a more attractive looking core $100 set, honestly.

140K between the Lycanthropes and the next free stretch - 4 Bones KS1 models, but this time in transparent plastic. Upsetting, even with the admission that they are padding things.

I will say that the expansion is currently adding $2.50 to the (admittedly $50) shipping cost, which is rather better than the $25 in shipping the Bones II expansions did! And that I'm finding the models in this to be much more interesting - not as gonkish, and (minotaur aside) not repeating things that I already have.
The Chinese dragon is just spectacular, although I don't have a good idea about size/dimensions/final shape. Where's Forscale when you need him? Is the succubus human-sized or a Bloodthirster?

Also, when is CAV Bones hitting retail? It feels like we should have seen some of them in the wild by now. What gives?
My understanding is:
1) They produced a bulk load of the original "Core Set" CAVs in white plastic in 2014, and these have indeed already been sent out to backers who wanted two shipments. I am a mad idiot who elected for that option, despite that meaning that I'll have to pay two sets of handling fees.
2) They then switched to a parallel process of getting the new rulebook written and produced, and manufacturing all of the new models (and the old one again) in grey plastic. The former has just been done, the rulebook is going to be available from Reaper any day now. The latter has been held up a bit :
We're very sorry, but we still have been facing some production delays which have caused delivery to be delayed further. Some of the products are not yet finished being produced, and we are working very closely with the manufacturer to identify and resolve the delay.
We understand that the delay is frustrating, but we have an established history of delivering on our promises (see previous kickstarter projects) and hope that all of you will bear with us through this unforeseen delay. Since fulfillment was originally planned to begin this month, we are certainly eager to begin, and hope to be able to get started sooner rather than later.
3) They said on the Kickstarter page that the plan was not to "launch" CAV bones at retail until they had the rulebook and a decent amount of models to support it.

Yes, open until the end of July, last I heard.
Link is:
https://ks.reapermini.com/bones3
Something which I fell afoul of, which probably isn't a common problem, but:
If you change the address of your Reaper pledge for one project, it changes even the locked in pledges for ALL non-dispatched projects! So when I wanted my Bones III pledge to be sent to a friend in the US for pickup, guess where my (expensive international shipping already paid) wave 2 of my CAV pledge ended up going? Yup.
