Hey mates, just ordered the Knight Warden today as not only is it an awesome model, but it will bring some much needed punch to my current army, which is the Militarum tempestus Scions. That being said, I am still debating on how I should field it, as there are a lot of options I could go. At the moment, since my army in particular doesn't have a lot of Anti-Tank options, I am leaning towards this particular build if it is allowed:

Knight Warden:
-w/Thermal Cannon, Thunderstrike Gauntlet, Carapace-Mounted Stormspear Rocket Pod, Meltagun, Hvy. Flamer

Very Anti-Tank and the Guantlet will provide much needed CC support against other units. But I have also been tempted to run the Gatling Cannon as well, which is why Io plan to eventually magnetize the Weapon Arms so I can switch out and try out various combinations, but this is what I plan to field to start. What do you think? And if you plan to field one as well, feel free to share what you want to run and why.

Since this is the original kit with an extra sprue, will there be enough parts to make different arms w/ weapons and swap them out?

I plan on using mine to supplement my vostroyan regiment, that allies with skitari for vendetta parachuting haywire.

I'm going to paint it in admech colors with the transfers that belong to admech, and give it the nice admech faceplate since the Adeptus Mechanicus are close with vostroyans

From what I understand you can field all the different 6x Types of Knights with this one Kit, so I don't think it would be to hard to accomplish that. And I plan to mainly Magnitize the Gatling Cannon/Thermal Cannon/Battle Cannon Arm so I can sqap out weaponry when I want to. If I want to go the Crusader Rout, I can always go the Ebay rout for an extra arm. But as it stands, I need anti-tank and the build above is very nice for that, as well as killing elite infantry.

Building the cheap, melee only version so when I run all knights I can have other weapons than just melta cannons.

Not sure how the pure CC one would do overall, as I fell that the more flexible it is the better, especially in this current meta as the shooting weapons are extremely good, especially the Melta Cannon and the new Gatling Cannon. Granted it's your call but if it is mainly just for the fact it is extremely cheap point-wise, then go ahead.

I'm waiting to see the full rules, points value, options and all before i make any decisions. Either way, I plan on getting 2 of the kits to add to the 3 I already have and then mix and match to suit.

Not a bad idea at all. I plan to only have one in my army but I do plan to magnetize the weapon arms so I can mix and match, same for the Carapace Weapon. However Some people are saying that I need two minimum as one will get destroyed easily but I don't want them to take up my whole army list. Thoughts?
