They did make one for dark angels right? Can you open the ibook codex in a reader on a MAC desktop/laptop? If so can you copy and paste text from it? Long story short I have a nook, and I really enjoy epub versions of my books but my dark angels army has seen almost no play this year becouse there is no dark angels epub book. I aim to correct that for myself but I'm not looking forward to typing up the entire codex by hand.

To be clear, I'm not asking any one to copy text or anyhting. I'll do all that myself. I'm just wondering if its possible before I borrow a friends macbook and buy a copy of the ibook from games workshop.

I only have codicies on my ipad in epub format. However you can copy the text from them into notepad, email etc.
If you buy the epub version and view it on mac it should work too being that the mac is similar software to the ipad?

I haven't seen an ePub for it. Just the iBooks verson.

You can however download the iBooks app for your Mac and read it on there.

**Edit: It says in the iTunes store entry you must have an iPad running iBooks 3 or later on iOS 5.1 or later. Or a Mac with iBooks 1.0 or later on OS X 10.9 or later.

Thank you for the replies. As I stated earlier I intend to create an epub version for myself but the biggest hurdle will be the text. I do not want to manually type the entire book. There is no epub version currently available, if there was I would just by that and be done with it.

I do not own a mac, but a friend of mine has a Mac with iBooks 1.0 or later on OS X 10.9. Before I invest in the ibooks version of the dark angels codex i was wondering if any one who has a Mac with iBooks 1.0 or later on OS X 10.9 and owns a GW codex in ibook format could open it in reader and tell me if its possible to copy and past from within the book.
