Hey there!
I'm mostly making this thread to motivate myself to paint regularly, as I currently paint models veeeeery slowly - I finish them fast when I start, but it'll often take me ages to get to that stage, with life getting in the way. Solution: make a thread about it, you might even get painting tips/constructive criticism!
The basics:
Spoiler:
I'm reviving my Imperial Strike Force project. The idea is to make a reasonably fluffy elite Imperial strike force, corresponding to the Conclave of Stern (homebrew inquisitorial force, which has it's own Inquisitorial Strormtrooper regiment - still love those guys GW! Put me back in the Inquisition 'dex!) and Deathwing providing heavy firepower. This force combo will also hopefully one day enable me to have them fight each other, when the Unforgiven decide that the Inquisition has discovered too much...

To go along with this, I'm moving up my Talons of Anathrax Nurgle warband to 1500pts, and then 1750 pts when both armies reach 1500pts. Basic homebrew fluff: They are a pretty recent Plague Marine warband, who are still torn between their nature as Space Marines (this faction mostly follows the expert tactitian Hastur) - Angels of Death who slay their ennemies before they even know they're under attack, and perform elite raids, breakthroughs, and sabotage; and their nature as Nurgle cultists (following the Daemon Prince Ansalaor the Immortal, ascended by Nurgle and blessed by the greater daemon Anathrax which this warband serves), which makes them be more patient and rely on attrition. Hopefully, this ideological divide will someday make them split into two warbands, when I decide to expand into 3000pts or more.

I'll probably get a campaign going between these two other forces (I share this account and models with a slightly younger brother who still lives with me, and he also likes this a lot - he leaves me all the painting though).

Anyway, for today I'll be inserting the lists that I'll be painting, assembling and sometimes converting - pics will start coming tomorrow (I already have roughly 1500pts painted up).

First List: 1750 pts of Imperials
Spoiler:

HQ: Belial
Militarum Tempestus Command squad w/ 4 meltas, plasma pistol
Inquisitor w/ mastery level1, force sword, 3 servo-skulls, rad grenades, incinerator - goes with the henchmen (the incinerator is because of WYSIWYG, and because I love the idea of PURGING WITH FIRE)
Inquisitor w/ mastery level1, force sword, 3 servo-skulls, rad and hallucinogen grenades - goes with the henchmen
Inquisitor w/ terminator armour and gear - this guys tanks wounds from the scion command squad, and gives it it's assault punch

Deathwing termis w/ assault cannon, chainfist
Deathwing termis w/ assault cannon, chainfist
10 Scions w/ 2 flamers - this list's main objective grabbers and anti-horde

Deathwing Knights
Henchen: 4 Death Cult Assassins, 4 Crusaders, 1 psyker, 1 ministorum priest

Valkyrie w/ missile pods, heavy bolters

I'll have 1 inquisitor roll on telekinesis, one on divination, and the psyker roll on telepathy.
Does this list look fluffy? How terrible is it?

Sorry, could a mod just delete this?
Camera broke - so no pics 'till I can get it fixed/buy a new one (a looooong time). Sorry for hogging space with such a useless thread!
