Had a land speeder lying around for a while now, who spent his life being a Ultramarine, Black Templar and ultimately transformed in a Imperial Fist Land speeder Tempest:

I freehanded the Symbols:

And I scratchbuilt the skimmer base:

Had fun converting this old Speeder up to a new life. This is a finished models only forum, but I must show the bare plastics before priming:

I am thinking about selling it though.. If you are interested, PM me, and let me know, maybe we can work something out.

So, you converted this from a base Land Speeder with sheet styrene?

The thing about 40k is that no one person can grasp the fullness of it.

Like that!

I'd keep it if I were you, one off conversions and stellar paint jobs are what makes our collections our own!

Hugely impressive! I'm very tempted to copy that conversion on a speeder of my own.

Just sublime. An all round beautiful conversion and paint scheme. The check pattern gives it a Rogue Trader vibe too

Thanks, to be honest, I was going for a third edition Imperial fists yellow. The yellow they use now for their studio models is horrible IMHO

Absolutely fantastic work Develain! Really dig the crisp highlights.
