Do they use lasguns?

And in the Necromunda tabletop game can they be equipped with them? I looked online and according to the rules they can't but is there something I missed ? Can the Sgt be equipped with one?

Why do you want them to - if it makes sense maybe House rule if all playing are happy with it?

Lasguns are so ubiquitous it's hardly an issue. If for some unaccountable reason your enforcers really want to use them I doubt anyone else would even care. It's not like you're asking to give them all storm bolters and combi weapons.

I'm quite sure from play experience that Enforcers can only choose to replace their boltguns with a shotgun or maul/shield even though the equipped Bolt Pistol can be swapped for a las pistol. Besides Lasguns have little to offer for Enfrocers, they reroll ammo checks so the increase in reliability wouldn't be enough to offset the comparatively low power of the weapon.
