Several years ago, I found a seller on eBay that sold the plastic inserts for Necrons in several different colors...blue, purple, red, and a few others...for both Warriors and Monoliths. I thought that was cool (cool enough to remember several years later) but didn't bookmark them or anything.

Recently, I'd had the urge to buy a few Necron models just for painting purposes, and would like to do purple inserts instead of green. However, that eBay seller appears to be gone :(

Does anyone know of any companies that do them? I've seen a few random web posts of people that have bought acryllic rod from plastic dealers and made them work, but I was hoping for a more "right out of the box" approach that I can just snap in. Are there any out there?

I don't know of any specific company's that do them. But I know hobby lobbies around the US have the long acrylic colored rods for sale to Mae your own usually(at least the one by me). You could probably try that out?

You could try using Truglo replacement fibers (they are used in fiber optic sights for bows and guns). They come in all colors and are quite bright. There are cheaper brands of fiber optic filaments, but I don't know if they are as colorful.

A few places you can look:

The closest match is the 2.4 mm fluorescent plastic rods from Plastruct: http://www.plastruct.com/Pages/OnlineCatalogIndex.lasso
