1-3 detatchments allowed in a 3 game comp coming up in june. Primary objective is maelstrom, secondary EW and usual tertiarys.

Downsides/ weak spots to this list? What would it struggle against?

5 dragoons does sound appealing... Maybe something to consider in the near future. That would certainly cover alot of board and for 225 pts as well! Crazy cheap.

Yea Im really liking the Dragoons.
9" move+ d6+3" run (averaging 7.5") and when in range 2d6+3 inch charge (average 10")
The speed+the high number of hull points in a bigger squad, combined with the high number of I6 S8 attacks for only 45 points each makes me very happy indeed.

Oh and they always have at least 5+ cover save.

I guess you only take two Plasma calivers for the two 10x squad becasue there is not enough special weapons in the box?

yeah pretty much! They are like goldust on eBay! Plus 30 pts a pop is pricey. I want to review this list and add in some cult mech - once the book drops.
