Sword-Wielding Bloodletter of Khorne

Simple 1500 List. Anti air would be the generated Daemon Princes/Bloodthirsters if things got bad. Plenty of deepstriking. Sorcerer rides with the Berserkers and takes either Biomancy or Telepathy depending on the enemy army composition. KILL MAIM BURN

Although you can feasibly ally in a sorcerer I don't think you should. This purely for fluff reasons. The idea of a psyker joining a unit of khorne anything just doesn't seem right to me.

If you want to go the whole way down the khorne path, I'd ditch the sorc and cultists, trim off one of the termicide units and get a bloodthirster. I know you were counting on the other stuff to create one but you have so little shooting even a few flyers could spoil your day.

I'd also take advantage of the biker/hound formation in the book, leave one unit of hounds behind to get the points. Stick on a pair of flamers or melta to give yourself some versatility.

Lastly, I am not much of a fan of blood letters. For a scoring unit that can take on a wider variety of units, I'd consider a blob of 15 csm with MoK. You can drop in some special weapons and run them up the middle. They won't get there fast but can absorb some punishment while the rest of your fast things go hurt stuff. Or you leave them until you want them as a counter attack unit while they sit on an objective.

Just suggestions- hopefully something will be useful to you.

I imagine bloodletters become incredibly versatile with daemonkin, at least compared to the other troop options. the ability to deep strike them wherever they are needed seems huge, and they are fearless. should maybe try to find 5 points to give them a champion, cheap tithe point.

Hey thanks for the feedback. The sorcerer fluff wise I like to think as the "blood priests" of the army. They are absolute religious fanatics of khorne who prayer and chant for more power from him to spill more blood. His spells would primarily be blessings to empower the Warriors of khorne.

Tactics wise I'm not completely sold on bikers. They honestly feel like faster terminators, and we know how fast those guys go down to a lite mass fire.. I do agree with you that the list is vulnerable to flyers. I might consider scrapping one of the terminators, one unit of flesh hounds, and the skull helm chaos lord for a Dthirster and a phlegm soul grinder. Both can do anti air and are flexible units. If I roll telepathy I might even be able to give the BT invisibility.
