I am going to NashCon and one of my good friends is loaning me his Chaos Daemon army. I have never played Daemons and have a practice tournament this weekend as a Crash Course.

Any advice will be appreciated.

He normally Vector Strikes and Lashes everything to death with the DPs. Kairos flies around and blasts things. The Keeper tends to protect back field since he is slower.

I also know he summons with the Pinkies, Keeper and with the Heralds that he summons from them. The DP have Biomancy.

Are there no Daemon players on today or did I get missed?

Looks pretty good. i've run something similar but using a tzeentch prince or two. but not yet in 7th.

i think you will want the grimoire (on a prince?) and the portal (probably on the keeper, i like spawning horrors/WCs and keeping them in my backfield. the keeper can offer some protection).
