So this is my anti super friends list. Very limited mobility. Marker lights less neccessary due to twin linkage and networked on sky rays. In fact I only really will be using them for the occasional missile and to toss ignore cover on something

HQ:

1xetheral
[b]50pts

Troops: 2x10man Kroot squad
120pts

Fast Attack[u]
1x4man pathfinders
44pts
Devilfish
80pts

Heavy Support:[u] 2x Skyray w/sms instead of drones
230pts

Now for the good stuff

2x Fire base support[u]

2x riptide with IA and FnP, sms as secondary 2x ATS
446pts

1x3man broadisdes all missiles 3xVelocity track
255 pts

1x3man broadisdes all missiles
205pts 2x TL, 1x ATS

1x3man broadisdes all missiles
205ts 2x TL, 1x ATS

1x3man Broadsides all missiles
205pts 2x TL, 1x ATS

Protect the ethereal and give the broadsides the morale bump along with the 6up FnP for free

All broadsides and riptides have preferred enemy (every kind of space marine) and tank hunter

So this is what I came up with to combat all these space marine armies. It's not too many models but a lot of shots with lots of range and lots of ignore cover. Something like 50 shots that don't need line of sight

Pretty obvious how I plan to run the list. Protect the ethereal and give the broadsides the morale bump along with the 6up FnP for free

All broadsides and riptides have preferred enemy (every kind of space marine) and tank hunter

I'm going to start the game just spread out enough and using the marker light drones as a way to make it so all 8 or as many as possible broadsides can overwatch each other. That way no units are getting into assault.
I'm wording on 3's or 2's with every single shot I have and rerolling 1's with all but the kroot, pathfinders and devilfish. Going reserves with the kroot and just hiding the pathfindes for the first turn or two. Dun drones will detach at some point and branch to claim objectives. Devilfish will start as either LoS blocker behind aegis for the ethereal or with the ethereal inside

I feel pretty solid that Broadsides can only take one item each from the Signature Systems list. You'll have to shave off some of their equipment. You have two too many Broadsides in your FBSC and you have one too many Riptides as well.

Pathfinders are not a good choice for Markerlight support. If your local meta is FW friendly, look into getting some Tetras. If not, you may want to run a Mark'o with Drone Squadron or additional suits with Marker Drones.

I'm always iffy about Kroot as I've never used them with much success, but, if they work for you, cool.

You are playing with 6% troops? You should be very disappointed in yourself. All you have is an army that sits there and rolls dice all game. No strategy, no fun for you or your opponent. Just stay at home and roll die by yourself. I loath players like yourself

Yeah, it seems like you do have too much equipment on your Broadsides. Each model can take one system.

The way I like running my FBSC is 2 3-man Missilesides; in each squad two have Interceptor and one has Target Lock. This effectively gives me four targets to shoot at each turn, instead of two. When facing a lot of light vehicles, like Rhinos, Raiders, or Devilfish; or when facing a lot of light infantry, like Daemons Eldar, this gives me greater flexibility in target priorities.

That, sir, is a brilliant idea.

All armies just roll dice all game, when you actually think about it. There is plenty of strategy in a list like this - utilizing cover, target selection, taking objectives, etc.

Some people like tough games against min/maxed armies, some people like to forge a narrative... Wherever your preference lies, don't be a hater.

As pointed out too much gear on Broadsides also FBSC forces 2x3 man Broadside teams. Where's all the EWO? It is basically amandatory upgrade on sides & tides.

DDouble FBSC is strong in a shooting match, but you'll struggle to win games against decent players in 7th where mobility and MSU are king

And, if you were going to run double FBSC, you'd need another 4 Broadsides.

. In my experience these lists "with the target locks(split fire) I added" crush the MSU armies even more. It's over 110 twin linked shots a turn. 56 strength five not needing line of site and 56 strength 7. Not counting the pie plates and other things. Rerolling 1's to wound and to hit against any type of marine.

A broaside team can be 1 broadside. I've reread the FBSC and it does say you have to take two teams of three so i'll fix that.

Oh okay sorry. I didn't realize I should run all of the units I have that suck just to make it more interesting for you. Guess I'll go Double Force org so I can get six fast attacks now. It's not my job to balance the game. Wait I've got it. I'll ally with eldar run all broadsides and riptides and than the windrider formations. Would you like that more? Lots of moving then. http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/640065.page. So many troops! . You almost went for 8 broadsides with 350 less points so really similar thought process huh?

Dropped a Skyray (two will be enough for most things) for more pathfinders to mix into the gunline - all that supporting fire over watching with ML goodness will increase salty tear flow by about 20-25% amongst opponents foolish enough to charge, or they can help out with TL pulse carbines and of course use MLs at range (which make the profusion of TL weapons godlike). Kroot with hounds can then outflank where you want to give you list a bit of late game mobility. Everything else just as planned in original post.

Against good players you won't table them, if you don't table you don't win. That is the issue with the list. My advice is swap the TE CAD for a FE CAD and get lots of solo crisis suits instead of the Pathfinder's pointless Devilfish and Kroot. That nets you 200 points, 6 one man teams of crisis us 138 points leaving 62 points to get them some weapons. Given the list I'd go double melta on 2 and keep the rest naked to help against AV14.

Also sort out your Broadsides, currently an EldAIR list ruins you. Whilst a DP heavy list could also end the game for you quickly. Iapedus' version of the list is much stronger.
