Hey Dakka!

I'm planning on converting an ork warboss on Gazbag's blitzbike and I'm between two ideas. I know for a fact that later down the line I would like to add some nobs on warbikes to my collection and I plan on making these out of the orc boar boyz box, but converting 'em to be cyboars! With that in mind, I'm considering making the 'warbike' out of the ogre kingdoms stonehorn model. A giant, mutated boar would fit rather well with the 'regular' cyboars.

However, most recently I spotted the lizardmen bastiladon and it looks like it could very easily be turned into a 'small' squiggoth. Whether a squiggoth makes for a good kustom warbike... In my head it does, but I want your opinions!

So, giant, mutant cyboar or squiggoth as my next boss' mount?

I would go with the boar as it fits in with the army theme better. Also make sure you model the boars with Dakka gunz, for playing purposes

Yeah, that's the idea, the nobz will be WYSIWYG once I make 'em but I'd like to start with a bikerboss. Thanks for your input.

One possible issue.

The Stonehorn is HUGE. Seriously, its almost as large as a Defiler. Its base is the size of a landraider. He'll be visible from just about anywhere on the board due to his size. If you're cool with that disadvantage, it does sound like a very cool idea.

I know. I don't mind. I really want to have great-looking models in my army even if they come with disadvantages. I already have a big mek with shokk attack gun on a warbike that was made out of the skaven doomwheel kit!

I'll probably be putting the stonehorn on an oval base/flyer-sized base. Need round bases for my 40K.

that's nothing I knew this guy who made Wazdakka's bike, he sold it to me and when I got it, it was like the size of skinny and tall baneblade so his bike of the aporkalypse is my looted wagon.

Hah, that's pretty great! I've actually changed my mind. This warboss will be made out of the ogre kingdoms ironblaster model. I'll replace the rhinox with a boar from the orc boar boyz kit and orkify the giant cannon. I will be making a couple stonehorn warbosses though!
