Hey everyone here is a batch of WIP photos of my Nurgle Blight Drones. For the most part they are scratch built. The bulk of the core was made from masking tape. I didn't have a lot of green stuff so I used polymer clay to the bulk of the sculpting. The housing for the fans was made from plastic bottle caps covered in Polymer clay. Once the bulk of the model was finished I used some green stuff to finish up the sculpting on the nose and goop dripping from the back (don't have a good photo of the back yet, will get one later). The guns were made from las cannons and plasticard and the light was from a land raider search light. Anyways let me know what you think!

Wow great job with those, very true to the original for a fraction of the cost I'm sure!

Probably just the lighting but the spew coming out thats making them flying is super opaque though and they almost look like they are truly attached to the ground. Just a small observation and likely just the pics.

Seriously awesome job and creative problem solving! Love it!

Thanks for the comments! Yeah these were really cheap to make in terms of material costs. I was kind of broke at the time and I needed to make something so these were created. Yeah the lighting is bad on that. When I get home I will post some better pics of the backside. It is made of hot glue that has been painted green with the nurgle rot pus looking paint added on top.

Cheaply constructed stand-ins that don't look like a dumpster-diver's crude caricature of the original model are pretty much always winners, in my book. They're immediately recognizable for what they are and, while somewhat simplified, they carry all of the Blight Drones' most distinctive features through. Well done!
