I love a lot of the laser cut mdf scenery available and would ideally like to be able to produce my own designs. I saw this one on ebay - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/LASER-ENGRAVING-ENGRAVER-MACHINE-40W-CUTTER-HIGH-SPEED-CUTTING-TOOL-HIGH-GRADE-/251840669689?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item3aa2dfa7f9 and was surprised by how cheap it was. I know some go up to the tens of thousands of pounds but for a home one for hobby work I was wondering if this would do the trick ?

What spec machines are the minimum for reasonably detailed wargaming level work ?

Any advice gratefully received.
