So here is my struggle, I have made arms for a Scratchbuilt Forgefiend.

This was already pretty difficult to make , because this is my first mech I have made so far. So my question is: what the best way to get or make some mechanical fists to match these arms.
I have tried looking for Nemesis dreadknight doomfists, but there is no bitz shop in the world that has any..

If you have any tips, examples or retailers that sell mecha hands/fists, please let me know.

P.s: they need to be about 1 cm wide.

Thanks in advance

You have scratch built that far, why not continue?

You say that I am crazy. I say that you are right!

Agreed, keep scratch-building. So long as the results look like mechanical hands/claws, you're fine. (or if you like the bio-mechanical look, they could be organic hands/claws instead?)

Nice work so far, by the way.

i think it looks awesome already and i fully trust in your ability t scratch build them on your own... but if this is not what you want to do, then i would look (maybe via ebay) after gundam and other Japanese mech and walker bits... i know they sell them separately but to a rather pricey cost...

My intention is to make the hands myself. But it's just that I lack inspiration for hands that fit in the arm guards.

Feel free to post pictures of examples that I can draw inspiration from , and hopefully I dont have to resort to buying some expensive gundam hands all the way from Japan

Looking good. Personally I'd add a rivet or two to each 'finger'.

Here they are with paint on them, along with freehands on both shoulder pads:

Good result. I probably would have gone for another joint on the fingers, but what you have does the job.

And the paint looks superb

I have tried that with several parts, but it looked off for some reason. That's why I started this thread to see if people had some alternatives I could try out, when I came around this:

The right mech had these pretty simple looking claw/hands, that I decided to make some myself, and it looked the part immediately.

I am also working on finishing the torso of the Forgefiend these arms belong to. Once the whole thing is finished I will put it up on the showcase forum.

Thanks for looking.
