Hey guys. I need some advise. Im working on an Apothecary/Sanguinary Priest conversion for my Blood Angels and I need some advise on how I should paint him as far as his colors. Ive been told they wear mostly White so he can be seen by his brothers better and when Ive tried to find art or references showing the colors they come in all types of colors so Im confused as to how he should look. Can you guys help?

I did a search in the Dakka dakka pic gallery and this is what came up:

There are some stuff they might give you ideas... even saw some Blood Angels Apothecaries/sanguinary priests. I've done only one apothecary before and it was for dark angels. If I remember, I made him all white.

Any mix of white and standard colour scheme should do it. Here is one of my BA ones:

Just the helmet and shoulder pad in white, the rest in the usual scheme.

Ok thanks guys! I knew I could count on all of you! Thats somewhat of what I had seen when I searched on the interweb myself. Paradigm, thats a good looking model! I hope to get that good one day. Thanks for the link djphranq!!

I was planning on going with mostly a white of some shade and having maybe the shoulder pads in red with Blood Angel insignia and possibly red knee pads. The model will be in the kneeling posistion hopefully pointing a weapon/combi weapon and possibly either a chainsword I plan on converting or some other power weapon. If I could get a few Terminator type Nartheciums I have an idea to try with that. Going for something kind of unique. You guys ever hear of anyone using Bondo type Auto Body Filler on minis? I got quite good with using it when me and my Dad worked in the Auto Body Repair business and having to pretty much sulpt shapes in fenders and panels on wrecked cars and trucks. I sure miss my Dad. I think he would have liked this hobby. He was pretty much an artist when it came to painting and fixing things.
