How about we change this army to imperial fists and you get pedro in there so all your sternguard are obj sec.

Well I don't have any issue using different chapter tactics, but Pedro is a big points sink, I'd have to cut something out for sure. I know dreads aren't super competitive, but damn do they look cool in a Black Templar army, and dual flamed dreads do a great job of mopping up backfield infantry.

Instead of iron clad for flamers look into FW siege dread. Has ap 3 flamer and a heavy flamer

Also you could drop t fire for points of pedro and pod

2 dreadnoughts, even super badass ones is not enough armor saturation to really scare anyone. I think you will have a tough time.

I think playing Black Templars at all I'm gonna have a tough time

Here's my deal with Pedro: It is really awesome that I get ObSec for all my Sternguard, but to be honest ObSec has mattered in a grand total of 1 game I've played since 7th came out. Adding Pedro means dropping my MOTF and TFC, which also means I'll need to drop my Ironclads as well because no MOTF means no heavy support dreadnoughts. For that, I get ObSec on Sternguard...and not much else, because Pedro doesn't really contribute much on his own to the rest of the army.

I'm not 100% against dropping the Ironclads, but I'd want to get something else that feels rock hard and templar-y. What do you think?
