If you had to buy the chaos side from the boxed set separately what would it all be worth retail? Im doing a trade (retail for retail) and need to know

Dark vengeance is the only way to get Chosen.
On a sidenote, Helbrutes are 43 euros each when bought in boxes but the DV one is a snap-in model which isn't nearly worth as much. same goes for the lord. You can find DV helbrutes for about 8 dollars on ebay.
While DV is a really great value box, the price you can sell it at really isn't high because people always can buy their own DV.

Chaos captain 18-22$
Hellbrute 45-50$ (since its standard load out)
Chosen 35-45$ (can't buy chosen on GW website and are exclusive beautiful models)
Cultists 35-40$ (for all 20)
Chaos champion 20-25$ (cause of his special rules included in DV set box
So grand total any place from 150 - 170 will have you see a VERY nice profit

If you are doing a trade, the chaos in DV is worth exactly half the RRP of DV (so £32.50 in the UK) and the person would be a fool to pay any more. (Considering how cheap it all goes for on ebay).
Not receiving the books, dice etc is offset from being able to buy half the set and not being lumbered with models you don't need.

40 bucks Canadian maybe.. The problem is everyone and their mum owns dark vengeance. Heck my best friend who plays dark eldar owns the limited edition for Christ sake! He doesn't even play dark Angels or chaos marines! It's in his hobby gaming and painting space sitting on a high shelf next to his box of BFG models. If you have found someone if they offer you anything between 25 -40 bucks Canadian take it and run, if you get anything more consider it a plus. As trying to offload dark vengeance models is a nightmare unless your trying to sell the hot ticket items like the terminators or the limited edition chaplain.

Where are people getting $170 or $180 worth? These are all snap fit minis. There is no extra bitz so you can make other combinations. As the person said the Chaos stuff is worth about $60 Canadian. Maybe even $50 Canadian. Box set is $150 Canadian. Let's say book and dice cost $30. So that leaves $60 Canadian for each side, Chaos and Dark Angels. Since Dark Angels seem to be worth more, I would say $50 for the Chaos stuff.
All I know is if you were making a trade with me and saying you wanted $170 in Tyranid stuff I would laugh at you.
Then again, maybe I won't. I will just get my Battle for Macragge box set and give you the Tyranid side. How would you feel like paying over $75 for the Tyranids stuff in Battle for Macragge box set?

Everything is made up and the points don't matter. 40K or Who's Line is it Anyway?
