....ugg Got some pictures from the new Campaign that was released at warhammer world.

Don't think I'm allowed To post the scans I have But I have seen 4 new Khorne formations. I will describe them in a more general form.

Formation 1:

1 Unit of Berzekers
1 Chaos Kharybdis Claw

If the Claw deepstrikes onto a vehicle/building deal 1 STR D AP 1 hit to the vehicle/building. Then place the claw as close as possible it is immobilized. The bloodthristers can assault the turn they disembark.

Formation 2:

8 units of of bloodletters
2 units of Bloodcrushers
2 Skull Cannons

All units start in ds reserve and have rage. they come in on a single reserve roll. If a unit is wiped out basicly put it back in DS reserve to redeployed.

Formation 3:
1 Greater brass scorpion
Then 8 units (Can be mixed of Defilers, Hell Drakes, Maulerfiends, forgefiends, Soul Grinder, Blood Slaughterer, or Chaos Decimator Deamon Engine.)

All get rage and Deamon of Khorne. If the GBS makes a successful charge the rest can re-roll charges. Every time a model is destroyed it the rest gain an Additional attack)

Formation 4:
1 The Unbound
3 Bloodthirsters (Any of the 3 variants)

Rampage, FNP, As long as within 18 in of Unbound Adamtium will, Counter attack and extra attack. Failed Fear checks by opponents deal 1 wound by every point failed.

Scans have been put in many times before on this site as 'news and rumors'. The entire Deathstorm contents are a good example. All of the unique units for that campaign, and right now there's scans of the House Blue Guys Royal Court from the Imperial Knights going around. That being said, I'm not a mod and don't speak for them. I'm just saying 'they did it first!'.

The thing with leaks like that is that we don't want them in dakka's gallery. If you host them with an off site place (photobucket or the like), then it is usually ok, but just don't host them here/attach them to your posts. I'm pretty sure that's the drill...

Meh... It's neat, but I can easily live without this.

I find it interesting that the formations include both Citadel and Forge World miniatures.

I’m all for players getting rewarded a little for taking fluffy combinations of units, but those bonuses are bananas.

Of course, you do need to field a full company of marines to get them, which is rarely going to happen.

That Fist of Khorne Formation, the one with the Kharbydis, think that's an answer for bubble wrap? The way I am reading is if the Claw lands on a vehicle, it hits it without a mishap. So, when it does that, it is placed as close as possible. Now that would mean not on enemy models and not on impassable terrain, so it might have a free pass to be placed OUTSIDE of the bubble wrap protection the minimum distance. Has this become a very useful Chaos tool?

Yeah, at least some of te chaos ones are usable. The imperial ones are just too big.

I prefer the current style of cover art moreso than the retro cartoony 2nd ed style on that. It's still nice but I really like their current artist.

The first one to hit eBay is up over 50 gbp ($83), I think the photos show the cover price as 12gbp.

Who wants to swing by warhammer world to pick up a few to supply the rest of us foreigners with? And to confirm it wasn't event only?
