Guarded Grey Knight Terminator

The person who locally consistently is winning the local tournament scene keeps doing so with a white scar army. How are you other grey knights dealing with the mass grav gun? I have a few ideas, just want to hear how everyone else is dealing with them?

I fill them up with Bolter shots, Psycannon shots, and torrents of holy promethium, then charge what remains. Currently Grav weapons don't work in melee. Occasionally, I drop a Vortex of Doom on them, just because I can.

Concur with Jeffersonian, you absolutely have to assault them. Hope for Sanctuary, cling to cover, and go for a turn 2 assault with the nemesis formation (he can't shoot you if you're in reserves, and you get to shoot first out of deepstrike). Psycannon fire is moderately effective, and with deepstrike hopefully you can get an angle on the squad to take out the guys with grav. It might be worth taking one roll on telepathy with your libbys to swap for psychic shriek, that'll do 3ish wounds on average to a bike squad

Hope is the first step on the road to disappointment.

But hit and run does.

But hit and run does.

They've rarely survived one round of Force weapons hitting at Initiative, so I've yet to see them Hit and Run. Could just be my local meta.

Move to get the charge off, keep putting wounds on them with flamer + bolter, attempt to get an angle to take out the grav gun first.

All been said above, but it never hurts to repeat good advice
