I haven't seen this build before, although I'm sure it must be used by quite a few. Why isn't it more popular?
DP of Slaanesh with wings, warpforged armour, ML2 and 2 greater gifts.
Swap the greater gifts out for 2 Lashes of Despair, roll once on Telepathy and once on Biomancy. If you don't get invis or Shrouding, take Psychic Shriek, and if you don't get Iron Arm or Life Leech, take Smite. 285pts.
This gives 4d6 s6 (or st9 with Iron Arm) bs5 shots, and also a psychic shriek and smite/lifeleech (or not if you get Iron Arm) in the psychic. That's more firepower than a flyrant, albeit at shorter range. Although being an FMC with 360 degree fire arc isn't too damaging for the range.
It also has the 3+/5++ and 4+ jink (2+ if you get shrouded) of normal winged DPs with warpforged armour and has fleet and rending for assaults.
I'd be tempted to even pay an extra 25pts and go for all 3 rolls on biomancy for Iron Arm to give a 50% chance of those 4d6 shots being st9. If you get it on your first or second roll, you can still take Psychic Shriek.
A decent build? Automatically Appended Next Post: Oh - and you can get 4 of these in 1 CAD if you take a KoS. In the deamon dex, which tends to have more point efficient units avaliable than nids.
