I don't actually think he can any longer. If Tyrion dies it will cost him a lot of money and piss off HBO.
He could die in the 'bitter sweet' ending to the entire series.

In case you havent noticed, HBO doesn't really care all that much about what GRRM writes in his books. GRRM doesn't even actually have any say in the show, he can make suggestions, but HBO is under no obligation (and often doesn't) listen to him and has the creative freedom to alter the storyline as they see fit.

The cooperation is much closer than that implies.
You were describing New Line Cinema, Saul Zaentz company and Tolkien Estate.
I think its Peter Dinklage's voice. The singing is not career worthy, but he is singing and not too badly. Dinklage doesn't look like he has the vocals for singing, so he is given short lines to actually sing in his full voice. the main verse is longer but his voice is more muted, he cant sing the whole song throughout with the same energy it appears. So no, he is not a singer.
Still has more singing talent than many performers today, and his stage attitude was spot on.
Besides if this isn't Number 1 UK singles chart after release I will be very surprised. Not that that is any certificate of quality these days.

Orlanth, about 2 weeks ago (though I believe it was an older article) I read an interview in which GRRM made it pretty clear that his involvement with the show is overstated and the ending the show pursues may not be the same exact ending he writes in his books. I'll see if I can acquire a link for you.
