I already have a guard army of considerable size ( 8000pts and an emperor's fist tank company ). But the last few years i have felt that my army is a little bland.
so ive decided that im going to make a second army more or less. This army will be themed in a few different directions.
im going to have about 100 conscripts themed around the yellow turban rebellion ( Chinese history anyone?) called the yellow bandanna fighters ( banana fighters? )
and about 50-60 normal infantrymen themed around Metal gear solid 4's PMC troopers

I already have an idea for my conscripts.
Basicly just guna swap the normal catachan torsos with cadian ones, paint the chest armor and bandanna yellow and call it a day.

however im running into problems with my second idea

I really like mad robots stuff, i think im guna go with them.
Puppets of war would work brilliantly although im not sure if the torso's are connected to the arms. ( not what i want )

I checked out victoria minis as well. they have lots of cool stuff, might have to consider them.

almost all of mad robots faces are the same however, great if you want an army of clones.

not necessarily ^^ if you pick up the SF heads, the rescue team or the characters heads you got 15 unique heads right there. more than you get with any GW kit. plus theres his range of balaclava heads, which made a fun alternative to helmets (boring)
