I just got my BFA from an art school here in NYC, and now that I don't have to draw naked strangers anymore, I'm so ready to start painting miniatures again.

I primarily played Warmachine (Protectorate), Hordes (Legion), and Warhammer 40k (Sisters, Inquistors). I used to play regularly back home, but the past few years I've been busy hammering out my education and all so gaming had to take a back-seat. But, I'm really eager to dive back in, so if any other NYC gamers have any recommendations for where/when I can play to get back in the swing of things, I would definitely appreciate it. In addition to picking up the new Menoth gear I also bought the starter kit for Skorne and plan on building that up this summer. Also trying to start a new 40k faction but I'm not sure which yet, clearly I have a thing for the zealous and holy though.

In addition to gaming, I draw, i'm working as an illustration intern at Marvel Comics. I double majored in studio art and film, my thesis was on Japanese horror. I was born in Kobe, moved to Chicago as a kid, I came to New York for school. Other interests include Mortal Kombat, books, the X-Men, new media/digital art/ etc.

Really happy to be able to invest time and energy into table-top gaming again, and hoping to find a gaming community to play with. I forgot how much I missed this world until i pulled out all my miniatures recently.

I've been out of NY for a while now but when I lived there the GW store on 8th street and the Compleat Strategist on 33rd and 5th ave were my main haunts.
