Hi! Some time ago I talked here about this 3d printed miniature company and they have just hit Kickstarter. The project idea of custom 3d printed miniatures is good, I believe if they get funded they'll release more minis and custom options (minis are pretty good, have a look at the painted ones). Nevertheless it's not cheap, but I guess that's about 3d printing, in some time prices will come down. I encourage you to support them! Let me knwo what you think about the project!

I do love this idea, and have spent a couple of hours messing around with the program, so I intend to support it when my paycheck arrives.

That being said, I'm more of a collector than a player, so I'm not sure how strong the market for this is. The customization is perfect for creating personal characters (and will be even more so if they get the funding to add more to it) but I am concerned that, as nice as they are, they might not fit with the aesthetic of whatever system they're being used with.

I note that the stretch goals are for adding new races and their respective mounts, and even the chance to select the gender, which is great, but if this project gets off the ground, I'd hope to see perhaps an even greater range of customization, in terms of armour sets and weapons, and maybe even the mount posing.
