Check out all thesse bug. This was a special challenge. I had a month to paint it all. I put in some long hours.

good job! Painting all that in a month is a big challenge, I cant even paint a single DE raider in a month.

I don't care for it at all, but thats really a style question.

Honestly I don't care for them at all, I really don't care for your overall style, but on a technical standpoint its very good.

I especially don't like the OSl on the exocrines guns IMO.

The colour scheme looks really shines on the gaunts. I think it looks really nice, the only issue about the colour scheme IMO is the stark highlights on the carapace (never a fan of white hightlights unless on light grey areas, again IMO). As an opponent I would crawl under the table and cry about my painting skills.

The basing seems a bit bland, on the gaunts its excusable because there are so many of them, but on the big guys, sone cut up sprue doesn't take too long and can look like pretty cool ruins. It kinda comes down to a time issue I guess.

Overall awesome work, all your stuff is nicely painted, just not my cup of tea. Happy wargaming,

Those are the most back handed compliments I have ever seen. At that point you should have dropped all pretenses.

I think those bugs are stellar. I find the color scheme striking and jaw dropping, I also like subtle conversions on the gaunts

It's the fact that you managed to tell him you "don't care for them at all" 3 times in two sentences that seems a bit back handed IMO.

Well done, especially given the time constraints. I see a number of carapace areas that seem 'missed', like the Tyrant's chest plates and flesh hooks, as well as the Devourers and tails... Then the exocrine have no detail picked out on their claws, spines, or guns.

Looks very nice, but almost a bit unfinished - but that's a hell of a lot of bugs to paint, so I can see taking a few liberties.

I really like the carapaces, the colouring is great. Especially like the wings on the Harpies and Crones!
